Human Bigfoot Hybrid known as Patrick

What if a Sasquatch abducted a human woman, held her captive in the wilderness, and fathered a child with her?

As crazy as it sounds, there’s an old story out of Washington State about a man named Patrick, who was allegedly half-human and half-Sasquatch.

According to researcher Norman Anton Sollie, Patrick was born around 1891 near the San Poil River in Washington. His mother, an Indigenous woman, was reportedly abducted by a large, hairy, humanlike creature known in some local accounts as a Skanicum.

After being held captive for nearly two years, she supposedly escaped and later gave birth to Patrick.

Patrick was described as an unusual-looking man, standing around 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a hunched posture, exceptionally long arms, protruding teeth, and slightly pointed ears. Some accounts also describe him as having a heavy brow, broad chest, and an unusually hairy body.

Despite his strange appearance, Patrick was reportedly intelligent, hardworking, and lived a relatively normal life. He eventually married, worked as a rancher, and supposedly had children of his own.

Patrick is said to have died around the age of 30 and was reportedly buried on the Colville Reservation in Washington.

Although Sollie claimed to have uncovered historical accounts supporting the story, there’s no verified evidence that Patrick was actually a human-Sasquatch hybrid.

Was Patrick a real man whose unusual appearance inspired a bizarre legend, or could there be something more to this strange story?
