Did Capturing Bigfoot debunk the PG film?

So, I watched Capturing Bigfoot last night…

This is the new Bigfoot documentary everyone is talking about, the one that supposedly debunks the famous Patterson-Gimlin film from 1967.

Does it actually debunk it? I wouldn’t say 100%, but it may be the closest anyone has ever come.

First off, I thought it was a decent documentary. It wasn’t boring, it held my interest, and I thought they made some pretty convincing arguments.

For anyone who was already skeptical of the Patterson-Gimlin film, this documentary is probably more than enough evidence to convince them. Case closed.

But for many Bigfoot believers, I think this film raises more questions than it answers.

Especially when it comes to this mysterious footage that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. We’re told it’s been locked away in a safe all these years, but I think it needs a lot more scrutiny before we can accept it as authentic.

I’d like to see the entire film released so independent researchers can examine it and get a better understanding of the context. What exactly were they filming? Why were they filming it? Was it really a rehearsal for the Patterson-Gimlin film? Some kind of reenactment? Or could this newly discovered footage actually be a hoax itself?

Those are questions I think deserve answers before we declare one of the most famous pieces of Bigfoot evidence officially debunked.

Even if the Patterson-Gimlin film turns out to be a complete hoax, it doesn’t change my personal beliefs about Bigfoot. If anything, it just reinforces something I’ve believed for a long time.

I don’t think Bigfoot is an undiscovered ape or some lost species of primate wandering around the forests of North America.

I believe there’s something much stranger going on. Something supernatural. Possibly an interdimensional entity that doesn’t necessarily exist within our physical world the way we understand it.

Of course, that’s just my theory… But I think there’s a lot more to the Bigfoot phenomenon than a giant hairy creature hiding in the woods.

So, what do you think? Have you watched Capturing Bigfoot yet? Did it convince you that the Patterson-Gimlin film is a hoax, or do you think there’s still more to the story?
